Role armement

Excerpt from the crew role:

"The Schooner La Blanche Marguerite going for Cabotage

Armament at the share, from August 24, 1852,

Built in Auray, in 1851.With a capacity of 79.57 tons,

draft loaded 3.33 m and unloaded 2.30 m, 1 deck, without forecastle, owned by Mr. LE BIBOUL, Félix, equipped in Vannes by Mr. LE BIBOUL Félix, under the command of Mr. LE BIBOUL Félix, for coastal shipping."

We did not find the length of the schooner but similar Paimpol schooners such as the Etoile or the Belle-Poule (Training Ships of the French Navy) measure 25m in hull length, 7.20 m in beam, 3.60 m in draft, displacement 227 to 275 tons.Knowing that one ton is 2.8 m³, the volume is 224 m³.We can therefore estimate the length of the vessel between 22 and 25 m.
