Descendants of Felix LE BIBOUL

Félix LE BIBOUL, born in Kersaux (Saint-Gildas), lived in Kerfago, another village in Saint-Gildas. The birthplace of his son Vincent Marie (in Kerfago), who was shipwrecked, is still part of the family estate.

He had a first daughter: Jeanne Marie Ange, who married Pierre Marie CHRISTOPHEFrom this union, Félix Joseph Marie CHRISTOPHE and Anne Marie Madeleine CHRISTOPHE

He had a second daughter: Marie Louise Joséphine LE BIBOUL, who married Michel THEBAUD in 1884.

From this union, Félix Jean Germain married Anne Julie MACHEFAUX, Marie Louise married Joseph Louis Marie, who married Ernestine LE FOURNISSE, and Anna Désirée married Louis Marie KERIGNARD (a Cape Horn sailor at the age of 16, then a captain and shipowner, particularly between Propriano and Toulon).

From this latter union came Félix, Michel, Anne and Louis.

Louis KERIGNARD had one son, Jean-Louis.

Jean-Louis KERIGNARD, Vice-Admiral of the French Navy, commanded NATO's air and naval forces in 2010 in the Norwegian Sea, near the tip of KLEPP where his great-great-grandfather Félix LE BIBOUL had perished.Photo amiral kerignard

A nod to history, like a salute to those Norwegians who gave burial to these four men from Guidans and one from Sarzeau, and organised the return home of the two survivors, Gicquel and Le Guerannic.
